I see the continuing sign of the modeler being taken advantage of when it comes to prices being charged by the manufacturers. An example is the ore cars supposedly being retooled from Roundhouse products and the price now up to $100.-00 for a six pack. I don't get it and how does one build a fleet of cars to represent what he is trying to model when costs for run of the mill cars and trackwork are going through the roof. I saw Walthers pulling on this string for a number of years now and don't like it.

Finally, really don't see much in the way of new or exciting products being offered for 2012 as most if not all of the products mentioned have veen announced for months anyway.

I would like to see more freight cars offered with no numbers so that modelers can purchase an entire fleet and number the cars individually. I would also like to see Walthers develop and offer a GM&O Abe Lincoln or Anne Rutledge passenger train.
