I think a column on N gauge would be a great addition to MRR, and it brings to mind , Tony Koester`s Sept 2009 column in MRR , entitled " There is a field , I`ll meet you there ".
I am an "N gauger " , however I understand that MRR cannot be "all things to all people ". The reality is that HO is the biggest market and so naturally more articles will pertain to this scale . Any magazine such as MRR relies on advertising to a huge amount, and so it follows that manufacturers will concentrate their advertising $`s for the best return. Having said that , Iam looking forward to an increase in information regarding N guage , and the continued success of MRR in the future. if I may be allowed , " I`ll meet you in the field ".

MR does a great job in trying to have an appeal to all modelers. HO has long been the popular scale. However it is nice to see N-scale is being recognized as having a strong following. While there are other scales the leading scales should receive the most copy. MR will likely continue its efforts to give copy space to all scales as best possible.
Keep up the good work!!

Jim,
Welcome back to MR! I have been modeling in N-scale since 1966, and N-narrow gauge since 1972, and remember the encouragement you gave me when you viewed my models at train shows (such as the one in San Luis Obispo all those years ago!)

I am 12 and live with my parents. ?I don't have much space. I am currently designing an 8ft.x8ft. shelf layout for the corner of my room. I love n scale because I can fit a lot into a tiny space.
